I want to add synonyms and get direct results. What do I have to do?The cache is set standard to 24 hours. This is to keep the searchengine super fast. If a customer searches a word, and searches a few hours the same word, the Wiser Search has remembered the corrosponding results which makes the searchresults come up even faster.
This can't always be handy though, this cache. That's the case when you want to add synonyms. You test with a certain word and find no results. Next you fill in this word on the synonym list (Synonym management module) and test this word again. Because of the cache you won't find any results again. That's why the best thing you could do is set the cache on 0 in the "General" tab in the Wiser Search module if you're adding synonyms. This way you can see immediate results.
Be aware: after the use of the synonym module immediately set the cache back to 24 hours. This is to optimize the speed of the search function. -
I have forgotten my password for app.wiser.nl (the Back-end of Wiser Search). How do I recieve or reset my password?Your login name is usually your domain name (www.domainname.nl) or Lightspeedshops: seoshop-00000 (00000 = fill in your shopID). If you have forgotten your password that you received by mail during the installation, you can click on "forgot password". You will receive an e-mail with the new password. No mail received? What is the difference between the filters Multiple choice and Multiple value?Multiple choice: if there is just 1 possible option for a product, so a product is for example red or yellow.
Multiple value: if there are more options possible for 1 filter (e.g. colour), like a product can for example be both red and yellow. Both checkmarks come back as the same product. Within Lightspeed it is then also filled in a different way. -
Query string: Why must it be a '?' and what's wrong with the '#'?Query string and hashtag are the same. It doesn't matter which one you use.

In the meantime, you can carry out a manual re-indexation yourself. This can be done by logging in via app.wiser.nl and in the module Wiser Search on the tab "Algemeen" on the button "Productdata opnieuw ophalen". Like this, all information is up-to-date again.
